Hi I’m Lisa! It’s nice to meet you!

I’m Lisa Shelby… I am a Christian, a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend, and a photographer!

I love to have fun, make people happy, and always do things the best I possibly can whether that be organizing a closet (yes, I actually enjoy organizing… I know I am weird) or snapping that perfect picture for a couple that captures their love and excitement towards each other!

I love photography and just in the past year got the nerve up to take the huge leap and decide to turn a dream into reality and start my own business!  I love capturing images that encompass personality, interactions/connections, and emotion!  I have prayed hard and am trusting God to lead me through this maze and have put everything in His hands!  Life is a strangely wonderful thing!  God has everything planned and his road map for my life has definitely been a rollercoaster with a lot of great surprises!  I would have never thought I would be living in Nashville with a wonderful husband and beautiful daughter actually writing this blog to introduce myself to you!

I was lucky enough to have found my husband at a young age… I married my high school sweet heart!  He is so wonderful and so supportive and I have enjoyed every day of our almost 12 years of marriage!  Then after all those years God gave us a gift that was definitely worth waiting for… Our baby girl!  We didn’t think a child was in our future, but now we can’t imagine life without this precious, little, curly headed, goof ball!  I love being her mommy and am blessed to be able to stay home with her!

I am really excited to see where God and this adventure take me and my family!  I hope you will continue to check in on this blog and join me along the way!  I can’t guarantee anything, except you will get to know me, see some of the images I capture, learn something new, get a few good tips, and have a laugh every once in a while!
