Anna + Dan's Wedding - Lisa Shelby Photography

I had the honor of photographing Anna and Dan’s gorgeous country chic wedding Memorial Day weekend! These two are so in love and so sweet… Here’s a sneak peek of their amazing rehearsal dinner and their gorgeous wedding day!

The maid of honor (and sister) mentioned at their rehearsal dinner how popular Anna was even in grade school and how everyone wanted to be her friend. From seeing all the friends and family that gathered for their rehearsal dinner party and to celebrate their big day I can see it definitely still rings true.

They had an amazing rehearsal dinner party the night before their wedding day down in Franklin, TN at the McConnell House, which is a gorgeous venue if you have never been there. The groom’s parents even surprised them with a husband/wife country group, 2Country4Nashville, that performed prior to dinner beginning! Even the details at the rehearsal dinner party were amazing… Once I saw these details I knew the wedding reception was going to be unbelievable! (Which it definitely was!)

On their wedding day, Anna looked so beautiful, like a princess as my daughter would say, in her strapless wedding dress and Dan looked so handsome in his suit! The bridesmaids and groomsmen all looked great as well! The bridesmaids’ dresses and the grooms’ suits were just perfect! The church (St. Henry Catholic Church) was gorgeous and Anna had really cute signs that a cute little boy and girl carried down the aisle.

The wedding reception was definitely as unbelievable as I imagined! The reception took place at the same place we did their engagement photos, at a farm in Leipers Fork, TN. Anna and Dan did a great job with all the details and everything was absolutely perfect from the boots given to the bridesmaids as gifts to be worn at the reception on the farm, to the signs and candles leading you to the beautifully decorated barn strewn with twinkling lights and a dance floor, and all the way to the homemade pies on an adorably decorated pie table! I had never seen anyone not have a wedding cake, but this couple’s pie table was a wonderful touch to their country chic theme! I don’t think there was a thing overlooked in the planning of their wedding day! They even had posh potties complete with televisions brought out to the farm for the guests! The wedding party and bride and groom’s announcement and entrance into the reception, the couple’s first dance as husband and wife, and just everything was absolutely wonderfully perfect!!!!
